The Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center

Saturday, October 9 | 8:45 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Enjoy breakfast in the Great Hall at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center while getting to know your fellow spouses and guests. The tour of the Wildflower Center will kick off just after breakfast with a historical overview of this magnificent 284-acre property and continue with small group guided tours of the Center’s mix of cultivated gardens, arboretum, managed natural areas and wildlands that straddle the Edwards Plateau and Texas Blackland Prairies ecoregions. The diverse and beautiful flora and fauna of this area make Austin and Texas in general one of the most unique and special regions in America.

Special Notes: Wear comfortable shoes and weather appropriate attire (Average High is 82 in early October)

 

Schedule of Activities

8:30am – Meet in lobby

8:45am – Depart Hotel

9:05am – Arrive at the Wildflower Center

9:05am – Breakfast & Introductions

9:45am – Guided Tour of the Wildflower Center

10:40am – Depart for Hotel

11:00am – Arrive at Hotel
